Dance

The Dancer who understands both the music and the dance, becomes the  VISUAL  part of the music.  The “Artistic Skill” with which a Dancer learns to move to Music can actually change the way an audience HEARS that Music.

Introduction to Dance

dance classes Students will demonstrate through performance, classroom rehearsal, research and written assessments, fundamental skills in various dance forms and styles. Through their participation in dance, students will develop an appreciation for the art of dance, and an understanding of dance and its significance to culture and society.

Through their participation in dance, students will further enhance their appreciation for and understanding of dance and its connection to culture and societies values.
